Tony • Medrano

CEO and Co-founder of RapportBoost.AI

Tony Medrano is the CEO and Co-founder of RapportBoost.AI.

Tony started his career as a technology entrepreneur out of his Stanford University dorm as co-founder and President of DoDots, the first desktop-to-mobile app platform. He built the company to 100+ employees, raised $25M in venture capital and managed all company operations, personnel and deals.

He was most recently CEO of Boopsie, a mobile Platform-as-a-Service company that he grew for 4 years and successfully sold to a strategic partner in 2015. Tony has also served as Vice President of Sales / Business Development at Reply! and SmartDrive Systems.

Tony has dedicated his career in technology to leading sales teams and understands the need for automation tools that help sales reps increase efficiency, close more business and increase margins.

Tony received his MBA and JD from Stanford, M.A. from Columbia and B.A. from Harvard.


Dr. Michael • Housman

Chief Data Scientist and Co-founder of RapportBoost.AI

Dr. Michael Housman is the Chief Data Scientist and Co-founder of RapportBoost.AI.

Michael has spent his entire career applying state-of-the-art statistical methodologies and econometric techniques to large data-sets in order to drive organizational decision-making and helping companies operate more effectively.

Prior to founding RapportBoost.AI, he was the Chief Analytics Officer at Evolv (acquired by Cornerstone OnDemand for $42M in 2015) where he helped architect a machine learning platform capable of mining databases consisting of hundreds of millions of employee records. He was named a 2014 game changer by Workforce magazine for his work.

Michael is currently an equity advisor for a half-dozen technology companies based out of the San Francisco bay area: hiQ Labs, Bakround, Interviewed, Performiture, Tenacity, Homebase, and States Title. He was on Tony’s advisory board at Boopsie from 2012 onward.

Michael is a noted public speaker and has published his work in a variety of peer-reviewed journals and has had his research profiled by The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, The Economist, and The Atlantic.

Dr. Housman received his A.M. and Ph.D. in Applied Economics and Managerial Science from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and his A.B. from Harvard University.


Megan • Vizzini

Vice President of Customer Success

Megan Vizzini is Vice President of Customer Success at RapportBoost.AI.

Megan is passionate about helping companies unlock their potential through technology. She makes complex solutions approachable, shows meaningful business impact, and fosters tight-knit relationships with customers.

Prior to joining RapportBoost.AI, she served as Vice President of Sales with Boopsie, a mobile Platform-as-a-Service company. In addition to growing and mentoring the sales, customer success and service teams, she was an individual contributor in large strategic deals and partnerships with a special focus in launching the company into new markets. She was an essential force behind its acquisition in 2015.

Before pivoting to the tech field, Megan worked at various law firms and held editorial positions at a top IP legal publication and at Thomson Reuters.

Megan received her JD from Santa Clara University and BA from UC Santa Cruz.


Tyler • Bittner

Vice President of Engineering and Information Security

Tyler Bittner is Vice President of Engineering and Information Security at RapportBoost.AI.

Tyler is a veteran full-stack software engineer and experienced manager of enterprise projects and high-performing teams.

Before joining RapportBoost.AI, Tyler spent a decade at Goldman Sachs as a Vice President building large-scale data management systems to support firm-wide operations and ensured annual Sarbanes–Oxley compliance audits were successfully carried out.  He started there as a software engineer in New York, led a team in their Salt Lake City office, and then helped seed a new technology hub in Warsaw, Poland.

Among his previous roles Tyler designed and built educational assessment software, websites supporting the NYU School of Medicine, and network traffic monitoring systems for a large web hosting company.

Tyler received his B.A. in Computer and Information Systems Technology from Purdue University and loves nurturing physical and emotional fitness through sport and adventure.


Fareed • Adib

Board of Directors

Fareed Adib is on the Board of Directors at RapportBoost.AI.

Fareed Adib currently serves RapportBoost.AI on its Board of Directors. He is the Chief Technology Officer of VistaEquity Partners, a Private Equity fund with more than $15 Billion under management where he provides product and technology oriented strategic operational and programmatic support to the entire Vista organization. Fareed supervises the distributed team of software development and project management professionals and is accountable for setting the direction of the technology roadmap for Vista’s portfolio companies. Fareed served on Tony’s advisory board at Boopsie since 2012.

Fareed brings nearly 20 years of experience in technology with a distinguished track-record of building diverse, global teams while managing billion-dollar profit and loss statements for some of the world’s most impactful and iconic brands, including Google, Softbank, Sprint, Nextel and IBM. He has been named by Fierce Wireless as a “Rising Star of Wireless” in 2013, by Fortune as a “Forty Under Forty: Mobilizers Making Waves on Mobile Platforms” in 2012, and as one of “The Smartest People in Tech” by Fortune in 2011.

Fareed has a B.S. Computer Science from the University of Missouri and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.


David • Shuttleworth

Data Scientist

David Shuttleworth is a Data Scientist at RapportBoost.AI.

David leverages his background in behavioral economics and outcomes research to build predictive models and optimize agent decision-making.

Prior to joining RapportBoost.AI, he conducted clinical research at the University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Health Incentives and Behavioral Economics and the Veterans Affairs Center for Health Equity Research and Promotion. His studies have been funded by the National Institute of Aging, the National Institute of Health, Veterans Affairs Health Services Research and Development, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Mike has mentored David for a number of years across a variety of data science projects at companies like Bakround and States Title.

David has co-authored research that has been published in a variety of peer-reviewed scientific and medical journals including the Journal of the American Medical Association, the Annals of Internal Medicine, the Journal of General Internal Medicine, the American Journal of Health Promotion, and SLEEP.

In addition to RapportBoost.AI, David is currently working in predictive analytics and machine learning at Bakround and States Title, technology companies based out of the San Francisco bay area.

David received his M.Sc. from the London School of Economics and his B.A. from Temple University.


Vanessa • Van Ormeer

Business Development

Vanessa Van Overmeer is a Business Development expert at RapportBoost.AI.

Vanessa is a California native who has been leading business development for startups in technology, fitness and lifestyle companies for ten years. Vanessa has worked with Tony and Dani in various roles since 2007. She has a B.S. in Kinesiology from San Diego State University and loves to rollerblade to RapportBoost’s Venice office. 


Meredith • Lackey

Creative Director

Meredith Lackey is the Creative Director of RapportBoost.AI.

Meredith Lackey is a content producer with expertise in computer networks and systems. She received her B.A. in Philosophy from Hampshire College, and her M.F.A in Moving Image from the University of Illinois Chicago. Her output spans long form writing, B2B and B2C content, and branded video content. Meredith has worked with Tony on creative projects and at Boopsie since 2014. She loves gritty travel experiences where she can learn about diverse people and new trends.


Tushar • Pandit

Data Scientist

Tushar Pandit is a Data Scientist at RapportBoost.AI.

Tushar has industry experience working in technologies like ASP.Net C#, ASP.Net MVC, Entity Framework,. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Jquery, AJAX, Bootstrap, Knockout JS, Angular JS,  JAVA, Python and MS SQL Server.

Recently, he worked on a project named cluster-computing on geospatial data using GeoSpark. The project included performing Geo-spatial operations on large datasets stored in distributed systems using Hadoop, Apache Spark, Scala and GeoSpark library.

He is more inclined towards Data Science- Machine Learning and would like to pursue it as a career. Tushar successfully, built Classification and Regression models as a part of a school project.

Tushar Pandit is a software engineering graduate student at Arizona State University.


Karim • Adib

Product Strategy

Karim Adib is a Product Strategist at RapportBoost.AI.

Karim Adib has over 20 years of experience in business technology, spanning all aspects of operational and innovation leadership. Karim received his B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Missouri, at Kansas City, where he graduated with Honors and Distinction and was awarded the Chancellor’s Significant Contribution and Academic Excellence award.

He was soon recruited by the president of Sprint to head up efforts in enabling technologies where he pioneered many technologies we find common place today. Later, as the founder and Managing Partner of Maxtel, Karim built a consulting firm known among clients and vendors for efficient methodologies, comprehensive technology architectures. He was the Head of Technology for one of Megan and Tony’s largest customers at their former company, Boopsie. Karim appreciates fine wine, but rarely during traditional working hours.


Evelīna • Dzelzkalēja

Customer Success Manager

Evelīna Dzelzkalēja is a Customer Success Manager at RapportBoost.AI.

Evelīna Dzelzkalēja serves as the liaison between customers and our data science team in the role of Customer Success Management. She holds an M.Sc. in Economics from Riga Technical University in Latvia and a B.A. in Marketing. She has worked on integrated and challenging digital advertising projects and large sales organizations. Evelina is a huge animal defender and traveler.


Andrew • Kim

Co-Founder and Advisor

Andrew Kim is Co-Founder and Vice President of Product at RapportBoost.AI.

Andrew assists with product builds from end-to-end to ensure an outstanding user experience. He is passionate about building great solutions and has experience in every aspect of the product development process.

Most recently Andrew led Product and Engineering at hiQ Labs. He shaped hiQ’s product direction and roadmap for their Control Center application – which was awarded Product of the Year at the 2016 Human Resources Technology Conference – and led the strategic technical development of hiQ’s Keeper and Skill Mapper offerings. As Director of Analytics at Evolv, Andrew worked closely with the Product and Sales teams to build the Insights platform. He and Mike worked together to run the Data Science team at Evolv and then later collaborated at hiQ Labs.

Andrew loves to stay active in the tech community and advises early stage startups on product development and management. Andrew received his M.P.P. from the University of Southern California and a B.A. from Michigan State University.


Danielle • Apgar

Danielle Apgar is Co-Founder and Advisor at RapportBoost.AI.

Danielle is one of the world’s most successful enterprise artificial intelligence sales professionals. She has led the sales, customer success, account management, and sales engineering teams for more than 3 years at Persado, a CNBC Disruptor Top 50 Artificial Intelligence company funded by Goldman Sachs and Bain Capital.

She has personally closed six and seven figure artificial intelligence / SaaS/ARR deals with Microsoft, Travelocity, Caesars Pottery Barn, and Zulily. Her clients have the highest rate of customer retention and satisfaction in the 200+ person company. Dani first worked with Tony in a Silicon Valley tech company in 1999.


Dr. David • Clementz


Dr. David Clementz is an Advisor to RapportBoost.AI and was formerly the CIO of Chevron-Texaco.

David is the former CIO of Chevron-Texaco. He uses his 35 years of experience in technology management to help firms develop technology enabled strategies.

David formerly worked with EDS in Dallas, Texas, where he served as Executive Vice President for Service Delivery.  In that capacity he was responsible for over 100,000 employees in 65 countries and a budget of over $15 Billion. David has been a mentor to Tony since the 1980s, and was on Tony & Megans advisory board at Boopsie since 2012.

Dr. Clementz has an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University, an M.S. from Purdue University and a Ph.D. from Michigan State University.


Steve • Bond

Business Development

Steve Bond is a Business Development Expert at RapportBoost.AI.

Steve is a Business Development and Strategic Planning executive with broad experience in sales, value building & strategic alliance development. Since selling his regional consulting firm in 2013, Steve has worked with technology companies from SAAS to semiconductors to bring their IP to market, most recently Lorica, which he joined in 2014 and sold in 2017. Steve first worked with Tony at a management consulting company in 2001.

He graduated Summa Cum Laude from San Diego State University.


David • Oates


David Oates is a Marketing Strategist at RapportBoost.AI.

David Oates is a 20-year marketing and public relations veteran who holds extensive experience in developing as well as executing successful and measurable programs for a wide range of agency, high tech, corporate and government organizations. He is an accredited public relations (APR) expert affiliated with the Public Relations Society of America, and serves as the Chairman of the Board of Advisors for Operation Homefront, California as well as on the Board of Directors for Rotary Club of San Diego. David has worked with Tony since 2001 in numerous capacities such as a non profit Board supporting veterans.

He received his MBA from San Diego State University’s Executive Program in 2004 and his bachelors of arts from the University of Maryland in 1991. David was named among the 2009 “40 under 40” list of top professionals by the San Diego Metropolitan.
