Encouragement can be powerful in helping visitors emotionally validate their choices and is especially powerful when visitors are trying to convince themselves to make that purchase. A little encouragement at the right time can work wonders, but too much of a good thing can be seen as pushy and disingenuous, even if not intended as such.
