Hi everyone! Dani Apgar here from RapportBoost. I’m in Houston visiting one of our clients yet wanted to share your RapportBoosting tip on Name Use.

RapportBoosting tips are bits of wisdom gleaned from our platform analyzing millions of chat & SMS conversations for brands.

Okay, let’s get to it… using visitors’ names is a powerful way to acknowledge the individual and to build rapport.

Overusing or using a visitors’ name at the wrong moment in the conversation can seem disingenuous and even robotic. It is best to use a visitor’s name at the start, during the greeting, or at the end, meaning..during the thank you- goodbye phases of a conversation.

Thanks for listening to RapportBoosting tip on Name Use. Have a great day and I’ll be back with you soon.
